Once upon a time, Antonio and Marcello Berloni of Pesaro, Italy began a small workshop that produced industrial kitchen furniture. Since the 1960’s when they began, the story has evolved.

Over the past 40 years Berloni has slowly grown from its first small studio to a world wide entity composed of 16 production facilities operating in different sectors and divided into three units: home, office and refrigeration. [Fun Fact: Berloni produces the refrigeration for all of NASA’s space shuttles.] With growth in over 50 countries on 4 continents, Berloni is one of the foremost names in home furnishings. And the company continues to be led today by Antonio and Marcello’s children and grandchildren.

In 2004 Berloni constructed a new 30,000 square metre (1 million SF) state of the art facility in Pesaro, Italy, where all types of furnishings for the home are produced including the kitchens. The marriage of the most advanced robotics with old world craftsmanship creates products that continue to satisfy the most discriminating customers.

But Berloni is not simply about beauty.
Numerous clever storage solutions and the backing of a 5 year warranty offer clients innovation and protection beyond what the limits of the law require. Environmental responsibility is factored into the business plan as well.

In-house manufacturing allows Berloni to:

Machine raw materials that have a humidity percentage between 9% and 13% to prevent off-gassing

Use laminates that are scratchproof, and impregnated with water repellant resins

Manufacture ecological chipboard of the very lowest formaldehyde type (E1) 

As the first Italian manufacturer to obtain product certification in accordance with the European Union UNI EN 1153 standard (a safety management system), Berloni undergoes constant inspections to insure both quality and safety. They continue to be re-certified per the UNI EN ISO 9002 standard (a quality management system).
